The Oklahoma state championships are the highlight of the season for many riders and it is important that these events consistently rank among the best in the state. To ensure a fair selection process for the organizers and a memorable experience for the riders, the BRAOK Board has created a process to review applications and award the state championship to the best applicant.

If your club is interested in hosting a state championship for 2010, please review and fill out the application form and submit it to the Commissioner of Officials. 

The deadline for Road Race, Criterium, and Time Trial applications for 2010 is March 9th (Cyclocross is August 10th).  The board will review and announce the dates and venues by April 1st (Cyclocross by Sept 1st).

Bicycle Racing Association of Oklahoma will provide Oklahome State Championship jerseys for the following categories:

All disciplines Category Men 1/2, Men 3, & Women 1/2/3
Road Race, Criterium, & Time Trial Cateogry Men 4 & Women 4 (Cyclocross omitted)
All disciplines Masters Age Group Men 40-49, Men 50-59, Men 60+, and Women 40+
All disciplines Junior Men and Women 10-14, 15-16, and 17-18

These are paid for by the association and is provided free of charge to the winner of each category.

Important changes for 2010:

• Changed masters women from 35+ to 40+
• Combined the 1/2 and 3 women's jerseys for cyclocross into one category 1/2/3 jersey like on the road.
• Updated the min distance requirements for criteriums and included cross to make it all based upon time.  
• Extended the preferred dates so that all road events can be held until the end of Aug 31st.  Road Race and Crit originally stopped on Aug 1st.
